Equipment is "loaned" for Bantams (U-9) and Lightnings (U-11) and any FIRST YEAR player in the older categories (U-13, U15). All other players wishing to use the Club's equipment will be charged $25.00 for that season's/clinic's rental. In addition, all equipment usage requires a separate $100.00 security deposit check. If equipment is not returned in a timely manner the security checks are cashed, else they are returned or simply destroyed. Note: the security deposits will also cover any Game jerseys that a player is assigned.
Below is a list of standard lacrosse equipment that is required for each player. For Bantams and Lightning and any other first year players, the equipment listed in bold is provided for seasonal use by the Cheshire Lacrosse Club.

ALL EQUIPMENT USAGE REQUIRES A $100 REFUNDABLE EQUIPMENT DEPOSIT.
STICK REQUIREMENTS
1. Bantam and Lightning sticks must be from 37"-42" long
2. Junior and Senior attack/middie sticks must be 40"-42" long
3. Junior defenseman sticks must be from 43"-60" long
4. Senior defenseman sticks must be no longer than the tip of the player's nose.
ALSO RECOMMENDED:
During the early season practices it is cold and sometimes rainy. If that is the case, then please layer your child with outer and under layer clothing. The clothing should be blue, white or black in color. We suggest clothing such as:
1. Polypropylene full-sleeve jersey (worn under the equipment). Many kids prefer the UnderArmour brand.
2. A thin water resistant breathable top
2. Polypropylene long underpants. Many kids prefer UnderArmour.
3. Water resistent running warm up pants
4. Thin gloves liners (such as those worn under ski mittens)
Don't dress your child in a winter coat or ski pants since we will run a lot and they will overheat.
ALSO: Bring your own water bottle....and most importantly drink water about 1 hour PRIOR to any athletic endeavor (HYDRATE-HYDRATE-HYDRATE!!) If your thirsty after the first 15 minutes of practice/game - ITS TOO LATE!!!
EXAMPLES:
#1. Bantam U-9 player needs equip. Bring 1 check for $100 payable to "CLC"
#2. U-13 & above player (played before) needs equip. Provide 2 checks - 1 for $25 and 1 for $100 both payable to "CLC"
